The sample audio uses IE's Backgroud Sound(bgsound): all you have to do is press the green play button at the top of each screen - wait for the looped wav file to download to your computer - 2.5 meg for each page. Once the file downloads, IE will play it automatically.

There is a special page that utilizes traditional links to view images rather than using the Shockwave/Flash(SWF) image viewers. Remember, when using the SWF image viewers, you have to click once on the image viewer just to activate it - then you should be able to use the forward/backward buttons at the top right hand corner of the viewer to browse through the images. If you are studying/researching the postcards on the AboutWallace page, you should try the new image page - it is easier to jump around and keep track of where you've been and it gives you a better idea of the size and scope of the historical record.
